Lately I’ve had a problem coming up with quick and easy snacks. My kids seem to always be hungry, so I was trying to think of something that is nourishing, a little bit sweet, filling, and requires absolutely no prep.
That’s when I remembered my trail mix recipe. I used to make this all the time but somewhere along the way I guess I just forgot about it. It’s convenient, filling, and my kids love it. Hope you enjoy it too 🙂
Our Favorite Trail Mix
- 14.75 oz. can mixed nuts
- 6 oz bag of dried cranberries I use fruit juice sweetened dried cranberries
- 1 C dairy free chocolate chips or chopped chocolate I prefer dark chocolate
Place all ingredients in a large baggie and mix well. Serve.
