1Tbsp.Refined Coconut Oilsolidified (optional but adds some thickness & substance)
1tsp.Pure Vanilla
Liquid Vanilla Steviato taste (optional, I don't usually add this but you can if you want it super sweet!)
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl on low for about 30 seconds or until it starts to come together.
Turn the mixer up to medium-high and blend until smooth and creamy.
Frost as desired.
Notes
Be sure the butter (or non-dairy butter) is room temperature! If the butter is too hot or cold it will turn out well.
To get the butter to the perfect temperature, I love this tutorial from Sally’s Baking Addiction on how to soften butter quickly for perfectly softened butter.
I highly recommend using half non-hydrogenated shortening and half butter. This combination makes for the best taste and texture. While you could technically use one or the other, I recommend using a combination.
