These dairy-free, no-bake keto fat bomb recipes are the perfect portable, grab-n-go snacks to slash your hunger and cravings!
They are similar to energy balls, but provide energy from fat instead of carbs and have the flavor you crave.
They're also super simple to make, requiring only a few ingredients, and are a great way to round out your macros on the keto diet.
What are fat bombs?
Fat bombs are typically bite-sized snacks or desserts made with mostly healthy fats (such as coconut oil, nut butter, avocado, or grass-fed butter) with little to no sweetener.
They're high in healthy fats and low in other macros (protein & carbs).
They became a popular snack or dessert with the rise of the keto diet where people eat high-fat, moderate protein, and low-carb.
Are they healthy?
Yes, fat bombs are healthy!
Some of the benefits include:
- They keep you full for longer.
- Not all fats are bad, in fact, some are extremely healthy! They are a tasty way to fill up on healthy fats without excess sugar or carbs.
- The healthy fats used in fat bombs can help with good cholesterol, vitamin and mineral absorption, brain function, blood sugar, blood pressure, and triglyceride levels.
- They aid in weight loss, especially when eaten in moderation and combined with a keto diet.
A word of caution: one or two should do! Even though these are extremely healthy, they aren't low calorie.
However, they're very filling and not overly sweet, so after one or two you probably won't feel the need to keep reaching for more ?

I am dying to make the keto no bake cinnamon donut holes. I don't have almond butter on hand and here in NOLA a tropical storm is keeping us at home. What can I substitute for the Almond Butter?
Cassidy Stauffer says
Hi Katy,
The almond butter adds thickness, substance, and helps with the texture. You can replace it with any kind of nut butter you prefer. If you don't have nut butter, you could try replacing it with some softened coconut oil or butter, but I haven't tried either so I am unsure exactly how they would turn out. I hope this helps, and please be safe!!!
